What You Need to Know About Wholeheartedly Sarah

Here are some things you need to know about Wholeheartedly Sarah

A friend asked me about a year ago whether I will go back to work, (after having resigned from my former job). I could not give her a straight answer at the time. What I did tell her is that if I ever do go back to work, I don’t fully know what I would like to do. Not one of my previous jobs ever truly suited me. I always felt lost, as if I still had not found my footprint in this world. Whether I was excelling in my work or not (I had moments of both in each of my jobs), I was not passionate. Neither was I eager to wake up and head off to work. I knew without a doubt that I was indispensable, unimportant, not making a difference.  I was still searching for something that I could do and love wholeheartedly. Then I began to think about my true passions in life.

All about Wholeheartedly Sarah

Inspired Young & Years Ago

When I was nineteen I read an autobiography about a woman’s journey of falling in love with a man. She waited years for him and then she lost him after just a year of marriage. It was real, raw, and the most vulnerable book I had ever read up to that time.  It inspired me to start a journal detailing my own journey, and allowing myself to be wholly transparent.

This is when I started writing.  I always wrote with the idea that one day I would publish. Maybe one day, I would even write my own autobiography. Eventually, I had several ideas for books. I even started writing a couple of them. However, I didn’t finish them. Instead, I became very discouraged and fearful about a lot of things. Things like not finding a publisher, not being able to successfully grow my audience and/or fan readers, finding out I am not the great writer I want to be. I ultimately became fearful of not having success. But wait, my story doesn’t end here.

Wholeheartedly Sarah. Cultivating Relationships. I am Wholeheartedly Sarah

Along comes the blogging! What a perfect opportunity to share my life with others, (including the sometimes vulnerable parts), grow an audience, and perhaps one day publish some of those books. And what a perfect way for me to finally discover how I can make my footprint in this world, (however big or small it may be), and wholeheartedly do what I love to do—write.

Let Me Inspire You a Little

So, what will I write about on this blog? I will write about things related to who I am: a wife, a mom, and a friend. I have learned that at the end of the day, life is not about what a person does. It is rather about who a person loves. That is why these relationships (wife, mom, friend) are the only things in life that I know will keep me writing with vulnerability.

Here’s the deal! I want my content to be real, raw, and vulnerable. And I want to help you also find inspiration for living a wholehearted life! Of course, I will do my best to share content that is light, fun, creative. I will share content that hits the core of daily life and routine. I will share ideas, tips, tricks, thoughts about love, marriage, dating, motherhood, parenting, education, homeschooling little ones, curriculum, and more.

Oh and there is one more thing! Remember in the previous paragraph when I mentioned parenting and education? Did you know I was a former teacher? That’s right. But however resigned I may be, teaching is at the very core of who I am and it even fuels many of my other passions in life. I am excited about a few projects that I already underway regarding the development of curricula for homeschooling parents of young kids as well as charters. This blog will be used as a platform for getting the word out once the curricula is ready to launch.
