A quick note about Homeschooling
Did you know that homeschooling your children has many wonderful benefits that are absolutely worth mentioning as you explore the curricula and resources below? Some of those benefits include:
- The ability to choose your own curriculum based on your children’s specific needs and learning styles.
- Developing a bond with your children as you engage with them in their individual learning.
- Allowing your children to take their time on subjects that interest them.

There are many more benefits to homeschooling that I can easily mention here. However, there are also, consequently, some downsides to homeschooling your children. To name a few: *You will be spending time with them throughout the entire day. You will teach and parent them simultaneously. This can drain your own personal, mental, and emotional bucket. * You will need to keep them motivated, particularly when the subject matter is not exciting to them. This can be a very difficult and complicated thing to do, especially in the younger years when they lack the ability to reason with you. *Let’s not forget that you will need to be very intentional about providing them with enough social experiences so they can develop and grow into socially functional citizens in society.
I won’t go into much detail here about the pros and cons of homeschooling. The choice is yours and I am certain you have already given serious thought to whether homeschooling is best for your children and your family.
